This project was a conceptual book. I chose to do mine on Feminism. Feminism is sort of a hushed topic so I thought an appropriate title would be "The F Word". For the first half of the book, I treated the words "feminism" or "feminist" as though it was a swear word and censored it. Then the last article by Emma Watson, I stopped. Because it does need to stop. It is in everyones best interest for women to have equal rights. I used the colors pink and blue because they are typical gender colors. When they are mixed, they create purple. I used quotes from people around the world that are in support of equality and why they support it. I decided to use pictures of them and align them so that when they were cut, their eyes, hair, and lips can be mixed. This is representative of how all these people are different and come from different walks of life but they are united by this one idea and are all fighting for the same cause.
